Walker, Cora Belle, 95, passed away April 1, 2015, in Hayesville, NC. She was a lifelong resident of Tampa, FL, until moving to North Carolina 12 years ago.
She was preceded in death by her husband James Russell Walker, in 1959, and one son Franklin in 2009.
Survivors include three sons, Richard J. and Mary of Hayesville, NC, Arnold E. and Judi of Tampa, and Michael E. and Kris of Tampa; 15 grandchildren; and 24 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Friends and family are invited to gather from 10-11:30am on Tuesday, April 7, 2015, at Brewer and Sons Funeral Home South Tampa Chapel, 3328 S. Dale Mabry, Tampa 33629, with a funeral service at 11:30am at the funeral home. Burial is to follow at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell at 1:30pm on Tuesday, where Cora will be laid to rest next to her late husband James. Flowers are welcome, but memorials may also be made to West Gate Baptist Church, 5121 Kelly Rd, Town 'N' Country, FL 33615.
